Alexis is a Pittsburgh and Central PA based photojournalist who uses creativity, empathy, and technical skills to produce impactful documentative images. She is the recent Recipient of the 2024 Student Keystone Media 1st place photo essay award for coverage of Trans Visibility Day in the city of Pittsburgh. She is currently freelancing for NEXTPittsburgh and is the photography intern for the Pittsburgh Symphony and their head photographer George Lange. Some of Her past experience includes working as the photojournalism intern for the PublicSource, the communications and marketing intern for The Pittsburgh Foundation, and Point Park University’s darkroom and photography lab apprentice.
